Towards an understanding of Chinese education and culture

Dr. Ting Wang is coordinator for the Chinese case in the master's degree in educational leadership at the University of Canberra (Australia). He has many years of experience teaching courses in transnational leadership development programs.

Her doctoral thesis, related to the conceptions of education, the current leadership in the Chinese officials of the educational portfolio and her position in the international context, has resulted in her being the 2005 winner of the renown International Journal of Leadership in Education Graduate Student Manuscript Competition. Ting Wang has published several articles on educational leadership, international education and transnational teaching-learning processes. His interests in research include leadership in intercultural contexts, professional development of educators and intercultural studies.
