He holds a degree in Art History from the University of Salamanca, where he received the Extraordinary Degree Award. His professional activity has been linked to teaching, first in the International Courses of the University of Salamanca and, later, in International Studies Abroad. He has also worked in cultural management as coordinator of activities and exhibitions at the DA2 contemporary art centre (Domus Artium 2002 in Salamanca).
His works include several titles on art for children, as well as a large number of publications on contemporary art, aesthetics and art theory.
